What happened this week on RobeytechIt was a crazy week this week at Robeytech, as we kicked things off with PAX, while hanging out with the team at MSI and NVIDIA. Unfortunately, the PAX load led to one stream cancellation, because Robeytech spent nine solid hours talking to folks at PAX for an awesome activation, and he needed to let his voice rest! We also made history, as for the second time in Robeytech existence, we didn’t have a PC post during a live stream! All in all, it’s good to be back to solely streaming in the short term, and we really appreciate all of you who turned up for the streams this week! For the second time in Robeytech history, we had a PC fail on us! That doesn’t mean the build was a bust, as we still show you what $1,600 dollars can get you and how it is meant to look when it’s done. We will have part two next week, as we debug the issue and finally go to town to see just how good this PC is at gaming. AMD has some new cards, and they got people very excited for what these cards are capable of. We put together an amazing build, thanks to the team at ASUS, and with the help of Newegg, we showed off just what a build with an RX 7800XT is capable of! Not only did this build turn out to be amazing, but just wait until you see the performance numbers! The last video of the week was an impressive commission that needed its own video! Costing less than $2,200, not only did this build look fantastic, but it was also a cinch to build, and it absolutely crushed in gaming. You don’t need to spend a mint to build a great PC that not only looks good but slays in all the right ways… and this PC is the proof you need! Robeytech Discord Meet Team Robeytech Hello, my name is Glen! I’m known as Papa Robey within the Robeytech community – or Santa Robey around the holidays! I am the Executive Producer for Robeytech, and I’ve been with the Robeytech team for over three years. Most days, you can find me around the streaming studio handling inventory, shipping, and lifting. The local UPS and FedEx drivers know me by name! I also handle travel logistics, project budgeting, contracts, and subtitling for the Robeytech streams. I am the quintessential and crucial behind-the-scenes guy! I am grateful to be recovering from cancer, as I only have a couple weeks left in treatment! I am grateful for my recovery, and I look forward to returning to normalcy, taking on the load with Robeytech that I am used to. I’ve been married to my beautiful wife, Margaret, for 45 years. Our six grandkids are the loves of our lives! I enjoy riding horses and keeping company with our Aussie dog, Wyatt, and our two kitties, Cody and Winnie.
