Whew! CES was nuts, and to say I am beyond excited for this next year in PC tech would be an understatement. We had an absolute blast in Las Vegas, seeing all the latest and greatest that PC manufacturers and tech companies have to offer, and we cannot wait to get our hands on this newness ASAP - which is sooner rather than later! Alas, I am getting ahead of myself. Even though I was in Las Vegas, I still had a chance to produce some epic content. So, grab some popcorn and candy (or kale and carrots, if you want something healthier), and let’s dive in!
Videos/clips of the week
We’re kicking things off with an incredibly interesting case: the Geometric Future 2! This case was a struggle, but by the time we were done with the build, I was impressed with what this truly versatile case was capable of handling. We threw the most powerful components we could into this little case, and we were impressed with the outcome! Just how good was it? Well, tune in and find out!
Starting CES off right, we checked out a brand-new case from Cooler Master, the NCORE 100 MAX. This case is the latest, small-form factor case from Cooler Master to sit alongside their classic NR200P. In our ultimate review, we cover thermals, performance, and the nuances of building in this very impressive piece of kit! Check out the video for the details!
What better way to show you all the new toys ASUS has to offer than to let you see them all for yourself, live! We did a live stream right from the booth of ASUS and CES, and we let you ask JJ, our host from ASUS, whatever you wanted. If you want a full run down of everything awesome that ASUS presented, and you also want to experience the booth for yourself, this is an episode you will not want to miss!
Another big focus of CES was all the new back connect motherboards and cases from MSI and ASUS. Well, MSI got us an early preview of MSI Project Zero, and they gave us a chance to give you a full run down of what to expect. We walk through specific things to consider, the issues we found, and even how it all performed in the end. Want to learn all about MSI’s Project Zero? Then this video is a great place to start!
Intel LIVE is back, and we end the week with a bang! Alex and I dive into all things CES, and we even give you a hands-on preview of some of the hottest tech to come out of CES. Project Zero, the Cooler Master NCORE 100 MAX, and the XREAL Air 2 AR glasses were on the docket, along with so much more! It was a great first episode back and an awesome recap of what happened in Las Vegas at CES 2024!
What happening next week
Live streams took a hiatus until I returned from visiting Lian Li in Taipei, which means we are back today, Friday, January 19th in a huge way. We’ll kick things off with an epic build featuring a custom case from Blue Horse Studios, celebrating Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty, thanks to Origin PC. Not only are we building this PC, but we are giving it away via Gleam afterwards! Now, don’t you worry, because LIVE on stream, we are also giving away a Cyberpunk theme laptop from Origin PC – you will not want to miss this! Plus, we have two epic commissions next weekend in the Lian Li o11 Dynamic XL and the Hyte Y70 Touch. On the YouTube side, we have a buyer’s guide for the new RTX 4070 Super, an EPIC build with Noisy Butters, and an awesome recap of the Grinch Stole Christmas build. There’s so much to look forward to, and I can’t wait for you guys to see it all!
