It’s going to be a crazy few weeks, as we are in the middle of travel season here in December! This week, it’s all about The Video Game Awards, which if you are reading this post 12/7, you can catch all my insights and content on my Instagram and X/Twitter accounts. Given the travel season, we have a bit of a wonky schedule for the next two weeks, as we make room for being abroad the last few days of each week. This doesn’t mean we skimped on the builds and the content… OH NO! We made sure to fill all the stream time we had with incredible builds and bringing you additional awesome content on Instagram, TikTok, and on X/Twitter. So, sit back and dig into what happened this week on Robeytech!
Videos/clips of the week
Our first build of the week was constructed in a case with an unusual feature: it was draped in chromatic paint that changes color based on light (rather than heat - which is what I had originally thought)! We also checked out the latest all-in-one liquid cooler from Cooler Master, and we even drew some blood with an unfortunate fan accident. Ouch! This build has all the drama you could ever want, so come and check it out!
A lot of people love all-white builds, and we have a great one for you! This time, we used two of the new digital products from the team at DeepCool: the CH560 and the AK620, both in white. We build out a fantastic 1440p gaming PC, all around the affordable Intel 14th Gen i5 14600K. How did it turn out? How were the benchmarks? Well, tune in and find out!
We were not prepared to like this laptop so much! However, Lenovo knew something was special when they sent us the Lenovo Legion Slim 7i to check out. It’s thin, light, powerful, and quiet - there is a lot to love with this laptop, without a lot of the drawbacks that come with a gaming laptop in 2023. One of my favorite builds last month made its Robeytech Builds channel debut! Meet the Lian Li o11 Dynamic Evo XL Performance build that is light on RGB, but heavy on performance in all the right places! Filled to the brim with Noctua Fans and featuring the Ryzen 9 7950x and the ASUS Strix RTX 4090, this can’t get any more powerful, based on today’s components. Come see just what this build is capable of, and maybe bring a bib to control the drool coming from your mouth!
Alex and I get together for the last time in studio Robeytech in 2023 to discuss The Video Game Awards! I then do a deep dive into the Evangelion EVA 02 parts from the team over at ASUS ROG, along with some light benchmarks and thermals, followed by Alex and I hitting up some co-op in the new Lego Fortnite. It was a fun show, and a great way to catch up on all your tech and video game news!
What happening next week
Team Robeytech is headed to Atlanta for the upcoming Dreamhack, as we partner with Intel for giveaways, builds, and shenanigans! Not to mention, we are checking out and giving away the brand new Starfield Case from NZXT, filled with the exclusive Starfield components from AMD, doing an all-you-could-ever-want Lian Li o11 Dynamic EVO XL Gaming build! Finally, we close out the week with the last Intel Morning Show of 2023. We continue the drive towards partner plus, as we go for month 2 of 3! It’s going to be a jam-packed week, and I cannot wait to see some of you in Atlanta!

Gaming Extravaganza: A PUBG Spectacle - With an adrenaline-packed adventure, Robey jumped back into the world of PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG), an epic stream full of intense action, strategic gameplay, and the quest for the ultimate "Winner, winner, chicken dinner"! Robey, being the skilled gamer he is, faced off, and emerged victorious! Chat was cheering him on, and it was a nail-biting showdown that paid off in a “Winner, winner, chicken dinner”! Congrats to Robey!
