Finally, a Rhythmic Week!

It was nice to have a regular week for the first time in a long time, and to simply hunker down and knock out some content! That doesn’t mean we let up on the gas for videos and live stream this week, however!

What happened this week on Robeytech

It’s important to note that our schedule has changed, and that we have no more weekend live streams! This was based on feedback from you and from the myriad of companies we work with, so that more of you can attend streams, and so that more companies can hang out when we use their parts. It’s a win-win, as you get to be at more streams, and you will have the chance to interact with the brands that make all the parts you love!​

​Videos/clips of the week

We kick things off with a celebration of the RX 7800XT in the best way we know how: an EPIC build! Thanks to the team at ASUS, we were given all things TUF, and we threw it together with their brand new ASUS TUF RX 7800XT.  Not only did the build turn out awesome, but we came away VERY impressed with just how beastly the RX 7800XT is in gaming (if you can get one!). Come see an epic build that will probably surprise you.

We got a new case! How is it? We checked out the brand new Phanteks NV5, and we put it through its building and thermal pacing. Come check out an absolutely amazing build with this case, and then see how it stacks up against it competitors. I’ve got to admit, this case can be a real stunner!

Does an RTX 4090 build need to be huge? Does it need to be expensive? I take on both of these questions to see if you can make a sub $3,000 dollar RTX 4090 build, and if you can do it in a smaller case. Thanks to ASUS and PNY, we got to put all of this into the ASUS Prime AP201, using one of the best alternative cards to the 4090 FE: the PNY 4090. Come and check out just how much power you can cram into a small package!

Does Frame Generation really matter? Does it actually improve your gameplay experience? Thanks to Nvidia and the team over at MSI, we got to put all this to the test while at PAX West. Using unsuspecting booth visitors, we had them play Cyberpunk 2077 on two PCs to see if it makes a difference. What did they say?  Find out in this video!

​What's coming up with Team Robeytech​​

We have more streams for you this week, as I head out to LA to hang out with Intel for a Mod Workshop! This means a remote Intel Morning Workshop will be coming your way from the Intel Los Angeles Studio. Plus, we got an epic, all-white Lian Li o11 Dynamic XL, an amazing $1,000 build featuring the Radeon RX 7600XT, and another high-end showcase, Fractal North. It should be an awesome week!

We've had an action-packed week filled with exciting events and community interactions that we can't wait to share with you! Here's a recap of what went down, along with a sneak peek into what's coming up next month!

We had a fantastic week of streams and chats while building in the NV5 and ASUS PRIME AP201 cases! The Chat was really enjoying the NV5 build, as we did some live troubleshooting. Folks really seem to enjoy learning how to approach the building process when things don’t always go as planned. Robey did a step-by-step with viewers, and the response was a win for community engagement! 

So that your ability to be plugged-in is maximized, Blondie has been steadily giving the Discord server a complete overhaul! The overhaul has been met with kudos and positive feedback from the community, as she is listening to what you would like to see in the server. She is implementing your ideas, so if you have suggestions, please drop a comment! There will be surveys going out at the beginning of October, giving members the opportunity to let us know what you’d like to see in the Discord and streams. Get engaged and share your thoughts!
